Healthy Cities
Action Toolkit
The aim of this Toolkit is to provide guidance for taking action in promoting healthy cities, municipalities, and communities. It provides questions to consider, key activities and examples, and resources to help you with health promotion work in your community. Click on any of the circles for supports in implementing each aspect: Engage, Assess, Plan, Act, Evaluate and Communicate & Celebrate.
What do we mean by Healthy Cities? In this Toolkit, we refer to healthy cities, municipalities, communities, communes, “cantones” and other variations as Healthy Cities, though the name of the movement is different in diverse regions of the Americas. Check out our Orientation page for more information on the Healthy Cities movement and the purpose of this Healthy Cities Action Toolkit.
